Description
This is a very scarce, low mintage, beautifully and naturally toned, silver
"Two Kronor"
from Sweden. It was struck at the Stockholm mint in 1890 during the reign
of Oscar II who ruled as King of Sweden from 1872 until his death on December 8, 1907 and as King of Norway from 1872 until Norway separated peacefully from Sweden on October 26, 1905.
Sweden only struck this type of silver Two Kronor with eight different dates between 1890 and 1904. This 1890 date had a low mintage of just 71,887 pieces struck. None of the dates are common, the highest mintage coming in 1897 with only 179,929 pieces.
Weight: 14.92 Grams, 31 Millimeters, .800 Silver. Mintage: 71.887.

The Coin:
A beautiful piece, it saw some hands, earning some marks and wear. The color is completely natural, it has never been cleaned. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
