    Description

I can ship this super rare 1932 Packard glass advertising sign anywhere outside the USA most economically using Priority Mail International from the United States Postal Service.
I have absolutely no idea what a fair price for this sign might be so I listed it here for ,000 with a chance for everyone to make a lower offer. After an offer has been made or exceeded, I will add a note to this listing telling what the current offer is. I reserve the right to reject any or all offers.
I bought this from a toy collector friend in Butte Montana about 30 years ago. My full size 1932 Packard model 903 convertible coupe project will be going away soon so I decided I no longer need this gem. It was made from 1/8" thick glass and measures 14" tall by 24" wide.
The temporary paper cover on the back is ink stamped with "J & J Sign Service" and "Aug 1 1931" or "Aug 1 1937". It is hard to read the last digit on this nearly 90 year old ink stamping. I suspect this paper covering on the back would have been removed to let light through. This glass pane would have been installed in a window somewhere in or near the Packard dealership showroom.
At first I though this was silk screened but now I don't think so. I have no idea what process was used to make this very interesting piece of Packard history. I will sandwich this between a pair of larger pieces of 3/4" thick plywood for shipping unless you pick it up here in Bozeman Montana or request another method of protecting it for shipping.
I have been in the old car, truck, tractor, toy and sign hobbies for over 50 years not and have never seen or even heard of another sign like this. This may be your only opportunity to own a sign like this. If you are interested in classic Packard automobiles, you might do well to give some very serious consideration to bidding on this once in a lifetime item.
Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn in Bozeman Montana USA
