Why I purchased this car 6 years ago. This is my 3rd Prius. I had two gen 2 units and enjoyed both. This one offered me a gen 3 better ride and a moon roof with a solar power interior fan that comes on only when the ignition is off(a ,700 extra when new). This aids in hybrid battery temperature control and makes it nicer when you 1st step in the car. Very helpful here in Florida. The interior is tan cloth and in nice shape. I added fog lamps and side window visors again to help cooling and venting when parked. All glass has tint. The wind shield film is ceramic again for heat protection. All systems work as they should. There is a very clear sounding audio system that includes a 5 CD player. The navigation system is also very helpful as is the blue tooth hands free calling. Controls for phone and audio are conviently placed on the steering wheel. The two large glove boxes are also very useful as are the many cup holders and the center console arm rest/storage bin. This car does not show its age. There are a few smalll scratches and dings. To my knowledge this car has never suffered an accident. Standard equipment on this model : power windows, locks and side mirrors. Tilt steering wheel, fold down rear seats(I can sleep in the rear laying flat and carry an 8ft pvc pipe inside ). It has a CVT or constant velocity transmission…you never feel it shift. It has 4 power modes…electric, Econ, standard and power. The shifter is super conveniently located. I love driving this car. This is a very versatile vehicle with many carefree miles to be enjoyed by its new owner.
