Rack Mount for ICOM IC-745 radio without speaker
This auction is for ONE new professional rack mount without SPEAKER, designed to work with the Icom R-70, R-71A, IC-R7000, IC-R85000,  IC-740, IC-745, 271, 471, 1271 and other receiver radios that will fit into this size rack.
(The Icom R-71A receiver shown  is NOT included and is display ONLY). The radio opening is 11.25" wide, 4.375" high. If in doubt then email or Google us first with any questions M-F 10-6 California time and we will help you make it work right.
These racks were designed for and many sold to the US Government, NSA, FBI, USAF and other agencies. Standard EIA 19" rack width and 5 ¼" high. Constructed of Aluminum, front panel is .125", the shelf is 0.09" metal. (We also offer this rack mount with an optional 3" Mylar cone, 5 Watt communication speaker too so see the other listing). Once a radio is in a rack cabinet there is very little sound from the internal speaker so you will need some sort of speaker. We offer Speaker Racks with 4 speakers. The speaker simply plugs into the external speaker jack on rear panel of the radio. The area to the right of the radio can be used to mount a co-ax antenna switch or mounting other accessories.

This rack was designed for static installations and should have rear support when going mobile. Installation of the Icom radio, in this rack mount, requires removal (unscrewing) of the wire bail and two rear rubber feet. The radio is mounted using our new V2.0 aluminum strap for solid mounting. Rack Mounting not only gives your radio shack that professional look, you can also hide all those ugly wires, and you will score big-time with the XYL and get a lot of WOWs from your buddies.
