Each cartridge in this three-pack of aquarium filter cartridges has a coarse layer of floss. The floss removes debris while the activated carbon removes any odor, discoloration, impurities and toxins it contacts. All you have to do is replace the Large Tetra Whisper Filter Cartridge once a month to keep your aquarium clean and healthy for your fish. The Large Tetra Whisper Filter Cartridge is ideal for those who have an aquarium but do not necessarily have the time it takes to thoroughly clean their aquarium regularly. With the Tetra filter cartridge, you only have to replace the filter cartridge once a month.

Directions:
1. Detach Clip From Aerobic Frame And Slide The Filter Bag Over The Frame.
2. Add One Packet Of Ultra-Activated Carbon.
3. Press The Aerobic Frame Flaps Down Over The Top Of The Filter Bag And Press The Clip Down Over The Flaps.
4. Rinse Filter Cartridge Under Cool Tap Water To Remove Carbon Dust.
5. Open Lid And Insert Filter Cartridge Into Filter.
6. Replace Clogged Filter Cartridge When There Is Reduced Water Flow Out Of The Filter. For Best Results, Change Filter Cartridge Monthly Or Sooner, As Needed.
