    Description

This is in excellent condition, and with a fair battery.   No guarantee on the battery, but it does a few hours with battery save.  (that will depend on your transmit duty cycle)  New batteries are also widely available. (see details) It has been tested on a service monitor and meets all manufacturer's specifications (see below).  The channel knob is a little jumpy.   By that, I mean one click up or down doesn't always step up or down one channel.   Sometimes two and sometimes none.  Usually steps fine, but not always.  The antenna tip has a chip out of the plastic that does not affect operation in any way.  The pictures are of the actual radio you are buying.
BTW -its has three colors.   I like the orange the best.   This is the brightest lit HT I have ever seen!  Great for people that are becoming visually challenged, or for seeing at a distance (readable at 10' if you are visually sharp!).
This radio is way better than a standard Baofeng and does some things even a Yaesu cannot do.
    1. The squelch (which works well) setting is savable in each memory channel!   This means that if you have a RF noise in your location that keeps breaking squelch and stopping scan, you can raise the squelch on JUST that channel.   And it does go to an extremely high level.   I don't know of another radio that does this (saves the level into memory)
    2. The transmit power level is programmable in each channel.   This is nice where if at a fixed location, you don't have to keep adjusting it.
    3. You only have to press 1 button if using memory names to reveal the frequency behind that name (The monitor button).  Too bad other radios make this great feature too complicated.
    4. The battery voltage can remain on the display if you want it to.  It also has a low battery warning beep that rings every so often when getting low.   It has 3 auto power off settings as well.
    5.  Totally programmable with a simple Chinese Baofeng cable, and software available at Woxun's website.
    6.  New batteries are not obsolete.   They are made by Alinco and other third parties.  Search for EBP-88H for a battery.  They are inexpensive and work well.
    7.  This radio actually
    receives
narrow band when in Narrow Band mode (No other Chinese brands do that).
Good news for those using the Splinter Frequencies.
    8.  Adjustable VOX both sensitivity and delay!   No other radio has that.
This may be the best dual band inexpensive HT ever made due to the well thought out conveniences outlined above.  It was 0 when it was sold new.   You can go to Woxun.us and software link for both the manual and the programming software.  The software you want is "AT-3318UV-A (v3)"
I can't send you the link, its not allowed, but if you search for that, and then scroll down, it is on that page.  The file you download when you click on the correct link is called "ScanSpeed_2Tone_Setup_1.01.zip"   If its not called that, you don't have the right one.   Make sure your browser is not blocking downloading of zip files.  Then you will need to unzip it, and then run setup.
Please check our feedback and buy with confidence!  We ship same day, not just print the label to make it look that way!
