3 functional advantages that will accelerate Nitro-bacterium growth:
a.      Provides an extremely large surface area for bacteria to attach.
b.     Dissolves and reduces excessive oxygen from entering the media.
c.     The compactness will accomplish its functional goal using only a small portion of the                 filter unit.
