This new Surface Skimmer, part A240, is from Fluval and it fits all Fluval Canister filters!  Some people have adapted this to their larger power filters and other brands of filters!  You will have to watch YouTube or research for non-Fluval filters!

The Surface Skimmer takes off the oils and debris from the top of the water surface to help improve oxygen exchange that is vital to the well being of your fish! .
This fits Fluval Canister filters numbers:
104 204 304 404
While it does not mention the 04 series, they have the same hoses and adaptors as the 05, 06 and 07
105 205 305 405
106 206 306 406
107 207 307 407
This product helps to keep the intake siphon from being cut off so filter start up is much easier after you disconnect and service the canister.
