  • Aircraft Type: Cessna
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
  • Condition: This sound, more recent, factory information manual is in very good, lightly used condition. The cover is mostly nice and clean and shiny, but it is just a little worn around the edges and corners, and it's just a very wee bit soiled. There is a tiny 1/4" tear on the right edge of the front cover this has been repaired and reinforced with a small piece of clear packing tape on the outside and a small piece of self-adhesive postage label on the inside. The very top right corner of the book towards the back is a little bit lumpy as though that corner had seen just a little bit of moisture. A few tiny pencil marks were found on pages 5-15, 6-10, and 6-11, and removed by soft eraser, faint artifacts may be visible. There is very light patina throughout as you might expect. The book is otherwise rather pristine inside with no other writing or markings, no highlighting, no missing or torn or loose pages. The spine has not been cracked or broken as is so often the case with these manuals.

    Description

1979 Cessna Skyhawk Information Manual 172N.  D1138-13 Printed 4/00 per the title page.  This sound, more recent, factory information manual is in very good, lightly used condition.  The cover is mostly nice and clean and shiny, but it is just a little worn around the edges and corners, and it's just a very wee bit soiled.  There is a tiny 1/4" tear on the right edge of the front cover.  This tiny tear has been repaired and reinforced with a small piece of clear packing tape on the outside and a small piece of self-adhesive postage label on the inside.  The very top right corner of the book towards the back is a little bit lumpy as though that corner had seen just a little bit of moisture.  A few tiny pencil marks were found on pages 5-15, 6-10, and 6-11.  These pencil marks have been removed by soft eraser, faint artifacts may be visible.  There is very light patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage.  All shown in the photos.  That is it.  The book is otherwise rather pristine inside with no other writing or markings, no highlighting, no missing or torn or loose pages.  The spine has not been cracked or broken as is so often the case with these manuals.  The page corners are still mostly sharp and the book lays mostly flat.  See the photos.  This one most certainly had been toted around just a little bit, and studied just a little bit, but it's still in very good shape, especially for a 21 year old manual, and it's not hardly marked up inside either.  Always check for revisions, supplements, and updates with vintage manuals.
