This high quality poly filter pad is designed for water filtration in fresh/salt water aquarium and ponds. It grabs the finer particles to keep your tank cleaner and running more efficiently. It effectively removes particulate matter mechanically.
It also adds a supplemental means for removal of ammonia by providing more surface area for growth of beneficial bacteria. You can use them in most filters, canister filters, sumps, hang on the back filters, and top filters. Buy in bulk and cut your own size filter pads to use on a variety of water filtration applications.
Tips for Usage and Maintenance:
·Maintenance of Filter Pad: Rinse it with tap water every time it becomes dirty about once every 2 to 4 weeks. The pad should be replaced every two to four month.
