Signed Antique 18th-19th Cent Goosewing Axe W/ Makers Mark Vintage Axe Interest

This auction is for an antique Goosewing axe from the 18th or 19th century. The axe is in overall nice condition. The makers stamp is very legible. It appears as three stars and a fish bone looking mark. There is a spot of collar trama pointed out in the close up picture. The axe has a nicely aged patina. The handle is old however we believe it not to be the original. Please be your own final judge of the axe. Feel free to message any questions.
Dimensions: overall length including the handle is 26", up and down the edge measures 15&1/4", from the edge to the rectangular back measures 7&1/4"
