CONDITION:
Vintage Hults Bruk HB Sweden Splitting Axe 29-1/2" 75cm
This is a nice Vintage Hults Bruk
Splitting
Axe.  Head comes to a point in middle of blade(see pic).
Blade shows a lot of use (see pic).  The head has no cracks and shows  wear on the hammer end (see pic).  The head  is forged  " MADE IN SWEDEN" with the "HB" logo on the
one side (see pic).  The head still does show some of the factory blue paint (see pic).   Head measures 7-5/8" across with a 2-3/4" blade.  Original handle and is stamped "HICKORY" (see pic).  The bottom section of handle has original red paint and measures 29-1/2".  The handle has a lot of wear under the head (see pic), it also has scuffs from use. Head is on tight to the handle and the eye shows NO SPLITTING.    Axe weighs 4lbs 9oz before shipping.  N
