Vintage Kelley How Thomson Hickory 2-bit Axe Head Duluth, MN - Warren

Up for sale is this Kelley How Thomson Hickory double bit axe head. It’s in fair to good condition. Has some pitting. On the face of the axe it reads “Kelley How Thomson HICKORY Duluth Minnesota Trade Mark Guarantee.” On the opposite side it reads WARREN A & T Co. Warren, PA.” I have read extensively on Kelley How Thomson & Warren Axe & Tool. I live 55 miles from the old Kelley How Thomson plant. I cannot make any connection between the two. However, at some point there had to be some kind of relationship; most likely for a very short period of time. The axe head measures 10 in. & the blades are about 4 3/4 in. The axe head weighs 3 lbs., 14 oz.
