Vintage Watt Pottery Yellow Ware #16 Apple Design with Advertising
Up for sale is a very nice vintage piece of Watt Pottery.  This is a small milk/cream pitcher with a very nice apple design on the side.  There is advertising on it from "Farmers Elevator Co.  Hayward, Minnesota."   The graphics are excellent.   The pitcher measures approximately 6 1/2 inches in height by approximately 6 inches in diameter from handle to spout.    Overall excellent condition for its age.  There is some very minor staining inside from previous usage.  Along the rim there are a couple of very very light rough edges that look like they were from the original clay prior to the painting and glazing and one very very small nick that is almost unnoticeable.  The glazing is still excellent with just some very slight crazing, common for this type of piece.     Overall, excellent shape and would display well.   Nice piece of pottery to add to your collection and or if you collect pieces from Southern Minnesota or that part of the country.
