This pie pan shaped bowl is showing its age in that the glaze is crazed and stained, there are some cracks (pics 3 + 4). There is also a large chip on the bottom...see pic 7. Pic 5 shows evenly spaced horizontal and vertical lines that look like knife marks from cutting bar sized pieces. They are not cracks or the normal crazing that we usually see, and something, that in my 35 years of dealing in antiques, I have never seen on a piece of glazed pottery. There may always be small manufacturer's defects or microscopic blemishes or flaws consistent with age and use which is to be expected in antique and vintage items. Rest assured that any major issues will always be both documented and photographed to the best of my ability. Be sure and check the photos as they are an integral part of the description and do a much better job of showing condition issues than what I can explain through the use of the written word.
