Vintage WWII Collins Legitimus Hudson Bay Axe with original sheath

Vintage WWII Collins Legitimus Hudson Bay Axe and original sheath. In addition to the Collins' stamp, the axe is stamped "US."  The axe retains the majority of the Olive Drab paint from the factory and the head is tight to the handle. The original leather sheath is stamped "US," and "HOTZE."  The sheath is brittle and shows evidence of repair, but it works and shows very well. This particular axe was issued as part of the tool kit for a Sherman tank, and came home with a member of the tank crew. This is the only axe I've ever purchased that actually came with a sharp edge; it will shave the hair off any body part you choose.
