    Description

    WESTERN Hatchet
    This is a used vintage WESTERN hatchet in very good condition. It doesn't show heavy use or any bad damage. I don't think this hatchet was used much at all,
    but was probably stored away.
    Th
    e cutting edge is about 2 1/2 inches across. The overall length is about 11 3/8 inches. The  head is full, and hasn't been sharpened past the factory sharpening.
    The head is not rusty or pitted. The leather handle doesn't show any damage. The leather sheath is unusually nice. The sewing is all intact. I don't see any rust or pitting, except the metal tang by the leather handle shows minor roughness and  stain spots. This is shown in the pictures. This  hatchet weighs about 1 pound unpacked. Made in Boulder Colorado, U.S.A.
