We are pleased to offer this lovely yelloware Individual French Onion Soup Bowl or Casserole with lid manufactured by the Watt Pottery Company, USA circa 1950s.
It is perfect for storing and reheating leftovers in the microwave. Also perfect to use as lidded chili or soup pots to ensure keeping food hot. A bean pot and individual bean servers in this pattern are shown in the Watt Pottery book by Sue and Dave Morris.
This ovenware stick handled ramekin features shaded 3 colored earthtone glazes of brown, beige and black. The bowl measures 7" long by 4 3/4" wide. It is marked on the bottom with incised "Ovenware 216 Esmond USA". Other than a craze line or two on the interior, it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage Esmond Pottery that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
