Description

Vintage WATT yellow ovenware - this piece was called an "open baker."  The apple pattern was the company's most popular but this ribbed bowl has the special 3 leaf design.  The bottom is marked WATT 06 USA OVENWARE.  The bowl measures 6-1/4" across the top, 4-1/2" across the bottom, and is 3-1/2" high.
The Watt Pottery Co in Crooksville, Ohio opened in 1922 and was destroyed in a fire in 1965.  The company introduced oven to table in the late 1940's and began hand painting the pottery in 1949.
This bowl is mid century that was made any time between the 1940's to the 1960's. Despite the age, this bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
